Sort of a hardcore supergroup feat. Dave Smalley (DYS, Dag Nasty, All), Ed Urlik and Dave Naz (Chemical People). Dave Smalley penned most of these songs, and I can imagine the second Dag Nasty LP would have sounded a lot like this if he hadn’t left the band. The tracks written by Ed and Dave Naz sound a lot like the Chemical People (of course). Well-produced emo core with drive & power and occasional rock influences. This is great stuff, but if you’re looking for something new and fresh this is probably not for you. [8]

Eine Art Supergroup mit Dave Smalley (Dag Nasty, All etc.) und Ed & Dave von den Chemical People. Diese Kombination ist noch etwas inhomogen: Dave hat fast alle Songs geschrieben, die dann auch tatsächlich so klingen wie Dag-Nasty-Songs von der ersten LP, nur etwas gesetzter/rockiger und besser produziert; sobald die anderen beiden die Feder in die Hand nehmen, klingt das original nach Chemical People. Gute Platte, in die ich mich allerdings erst noch ein bißchen einhören muss… So hätte wohl die zweite Dag Nasty LP geklungen, wenn Dave die Band nicht vorzeitig verlassen hätte.
