Despite the title this basically still is a hardcore record, it doesn’t even sound like real crossover to me. There is some metal influence now (like the double bass drums or an occasional guitar solo), but this LP is much more a hardcore record than the first Suicidal Tendencies LP or the second Agnostic Front LP. Great fast stuff, clean & powerful production, too - almost a little bit too perfect/sterile, though. [8]

Hier sind DRI schon einen Tick weiter ins Metallager gerutscht, ohne daß dies eine echte Metalplatte wäre. Hin und wieder gibt’s etwas Double Bass oder ein kurzes Gitarrensolo, aber ansonsten ist das noch sehr viel eher HC als zum Beispiel “echte” Crossover-Bands wie die Tendencies, Leeway oder neuere Agnostic Front. Kommt ansonsten wegen der guten (teuren!) Metal-Produktion wieder sehr kraftvoll und knallig, allerdings auch fast schon ein bißchen steril.
