A lot gloomier than the previous 12”, with some stomping UK post punk influences (think early Killing Joke), but still this is deeply rooted in Chicago hardcore punk. A good and original LP, but they haven’t found their true sound yet. [7]

Noch eine ganze Ecke düsterer als die letzte 12”; bei einigen Songs ist jetzt auch ein gewisser stampfender Post-Punk-Einfluß à la frühe Killing Joke zu erkennen. Insgesamt fällt die Einordnung etwas schwer, weil die Band sich vom reinen HC schon getrennt hat, den definitiven Sound der Ink LP aber auch noch nicht gefunden hat. Auf jeden Fall aber eine ungewöhnliche & gute LP, die man guten Gewissens in die Schublade “Chicago-Sound” stecken kann.
