No “real” punk, more the Detroit punk flavor with strong rock influence that bands like MC5 or the Stooges played in the late 60s. The band recruited Mike Davis of MC5 and Ron Asheton of the Stooges for special authenticy bonus, still this is not really my music. Music like this needs a noisy, trashy production, this sounds a bit too clean. Fans might enjoy it, though. [6]

Detroit-Punk, die Band holte sich mit Mike Davis von MC5 und Ron Asheton von den Stooges stilgerechte Unterstützung. Mit Punk hat das alles wenig zu tun, eher mit dem sehr rockigen Sound, den Stooges & MC5 Ende der 60er spielten - Detroit Punk eben. Nicht gerade meine Wellenlänge, aber für Fans vielleicht ganz interessant.
