Early SE/posi/emo core, some Minor Threat and 7 Seconds influences, but mostly generic 80s three chord hardcore. Both tracks are from their 5-song 1986 EP, so you’ll be better off getting that one. Still not bad. [6]

Der zweite Streich des Sound-Company-Single-Clubs, wieder eine einseitig bespielte 7”. Face First gehören wohl in die frühe SE/Posi/Emocore-Ecke (jedenfalls von den Texten her), musikalisch sind leichte Anklänge an frühe 7 Seconds oder Minor Threat vorhanden; es überwiegt aber der ganz normale 80er-Hardcore, 1-2-3-4-Beat, 3 Akkorde, und ab und zu ein Refrain zum Mitsingen. Nicht weltbewegend, aber auch nicht schlecht.
