Original (US) pressing with heavy cardboard cover, red/white labels and two inserts. US test pressing in plain white sleeve and generic “NRT” pressing plant labels. Reissue (French/UK pressing) with regular (thinner) LP cover, blue/yellow labels. + lyric sheet. CD reissue adds Faith - Subject to Change 12” tracks and has a lyric/photo booklet.

The Void were one of DC’s wildest bands ever; psychotic, screaming vocalist, great guitar sound. On the B side Faith with decent early DC hardcore, fast and simple; I like their 12” better, but this is good stuff, too. You need this for the Void side. [8]

The Void waren wohl so ziemlich die wildeste Band, die die DC-Scene hervorgebracht hat; ein total irrer Sänger mit toller Säge­stimme, dazu der schwirrend-vezerrte Gitarrensound… einzigartig, Psycho-Hatecore oder so. Faith bringen soliden frühen DC-Core, schnell, einfach und treibend. Hat vielleicht noch nicht ganz das Fomat der ’Subject to Change’ 12”, wirkt dafür aber noch sehr ehrlich und ursprünglich. Auch gut. Insgesamt eine sehr gute frühe Dischord-Scheibe, vor allem die Void-Seite lohnt.
