This LP is a bit undecided - the music is way too sophisticated for punk although there are traces of hardcore here and there. Most of the time, though, this is rather rocking and slow, weird and angular, and together with the very special voice this is way beyond the punk mainstream. An acquired taste, but certainly not a boring album. (NP) [6]

Eine Platte, die nicht so ganz weiß, was sie eigentlich sein soll. Für Punk ist die Musik eigentlich schon zu ausgefeilt - musikalisch ist das Ganze durchaus gekonnt. Hardcore blitzt nur ab und zu durch, meist ist es jedoch dafür zu rockig und zu langsam geraten; klassisch-rockige Passagen wechseln mit ziemlich abgedrehten ab. Der Gesang reicht von Sprechgesang bis zu fast balladeskem Gesang. Ein sehr ungewöhnliches, manchmal verfrickeltes Werk, nicht langweilig, aber gewöhnungsbedürftig. Sicher nichts für Freunde des straighten HC oder des 77er-Punk, eher für Fans des Punk abseits des Mainstream. (NP)
