Spit Stix about this show: “We actually played 4 songs but went off the air before the 4th during which a punk named Tomas (a hare krishna friend of John “Cro Mags” Joseph) threw a rotten pumpkin at Producer Dick Ebersol. Thus the “$200,000.00” damage.”
The soundtrack to their legendary performance at the TV show “Saturday Night Live” in NYC on Oct 31, 1981 (info “1982” on sleeve is wrong). The NYC punks brought into the studio for atmosphere took their job seriously and started a mini-riot resulting in an alleged 200.000$ damage, mainly from a TV camera that fell over. Sound is quality is OK, but mono. Unfortunately this does not contain the full introduction by the TV moderator. The music is rough early hardcore in the vein of their first LP. [7]
LP.
