A 1994 Flower discography CD on Simple Machines called Concrete Sky has both LPs plus one bonus track (“Concrete”).

Debut LP by this NY band that did a lot for the development of the indie rock scene even though few people remember them today. The members later went on to form Cell and Versus, and the music here is somewhere between these two bands; melodic, harmonic and melancholic, but also with some grunge/rock influences. A good album, but the Hologram Sky LP is even better. [7]

Die Debüt-LP der heute nur noch wenig bekannten, aber für die Entwicklung der Indierock-Szene sehr wichtigen Band aus New York. Die Bandmitglieder gründeten später Cell und Versus, und zwischen diesen Polen bewegt sich auch die Musik; das Gespür für Melodien und Harmonien einerseits, grungig-rockige Einflüsse andererseits. Die zweite LP gefällt mir noch besser, aber diese ist auch sehr gut.
