LP and CD have different titles and a slightly different track listing. LP comes with a bonus 7”. There’s also a tape version called “Stocking the Lake With Brown Trout”.

Diverse & powerful San Diego sound. The album starts with Sticky Bun, probably their best song; great driving and melodic hardcore. Some tracks are melodic “emo core”, others sound a lot like the garage-y Sebadoh ballads. However, most of the tracks are somewhere in between Helmet, 16 and Rocket from the Crypt - but a lot catchier and more entertaining than you might expect from this description. Good stuff. [8]

Vielseite Platte der Band aus dem Headhunter-Stall. Der erste Track ist gleich ein Knaller; treibender, melodischer Emocore, der sich sofort in den Gehörgang frißt. Neben ein paar Tracks in diesem Stil gibt es auch einige Sebadoh-mäßige Garagen-Balladen. Die Mehrzahl der Tracks liegt im Sound allerdings irgendwo zwischen Helmet, 16 und Rocket from the Crypt. Das ist zwar nicht super-originell, die Band liefert das aber so glaubhaft ab, daß die Musik Power & Wiedererkennungswert hat. Gut.
