Forgotten emo core pioneers from Reston, Virginia (just outside Washington, DC). The music is very close to Dag Nasty's first LP (Brian Baker co-produced this LP!), Foundation are just a little less tight, convincing, and catchy. Apart from that it's a good LP, it even has some of the rocking/calmer sounds that Dag Nasty introduced on their second LP; two or three tracks also have a nice Rites of Spring touch. [7]

Vergessene Emo-Pioniere aus der Nähe von Washington, DC. Die Musik klingt verdächtig nach der ersten Dag Nasty-LP, und in der Tat saß hier Herr Brian Baker mit an den Reglern. Gute Musik, die sogar schon einige der ruhigeren/rockigeren Klänge vorwegnimmt, die Dag Nasty erst auf ihrer zweiten LP einführten; nur sind Foundation letztendlich doch eine Stufe weniger kraftvoll, überzeugend und eingängig.
