Two bands from Northern California that sound a lot like they’re from DC. Fuel have a Fugazi-style thing going but are a little catchier - not bad. Phleg Camp sound more like early Rites of Spring. Good music, even though most of this sounds very familiar. [7]

Fuel sind eine ’echte’ DC-Band, obwohl sie aus San Francisco kommen… aber alles ist da, der berühmte New-DC-Sound, die Ian-McKaye-artigen Vocals etc… durchaus mit Bands wie Fugazi vergleichbar, obwohl Fuel vielleicht noch etwas eingängiger sind. Gut. Gleiches gilt für Phleg Camp, die aber eher in Richtung frühe Rites of Spring gehen. Sehr gute Platte, auch wenn einem das meiste irgendwie bekannt vorkommt…
