slash records. scam 101 / 3 tracks / may 1978
RI: D (?): 5 tracks / 1990 (bootleg)
Produced by Geza X. Original was released with different cover colors; yellow seems to be the most common one, followed by red; green sleeves are very rare, and I've only heard rumors about blue ones (although breakmyface.com verifies four different colors). 1000(??) made. Reissued on What we do… mLP. Bootleg has a yellow sleeve and two additional tracks on side B in the same style as the A side, very good sound quality.
Unlike their first 7”, this is of more than just historic value; great fast and snotty 77-style hardcore punk, loud and noisy. One of the true classics of LA punk, and quite possibly their best release. Trivia: This was intended to be the second release on What records but came out on the new Slash label instead. [9]
Gut!
