Their first 45 has early versions of two Go-Go’s songs, rougher and much more on the punk side. Especially the B side is almost “real” punk with some 60’s surf/girl pop influence, rather than vice versa like on their later releases. Well, and you all know the A side of course, one of their big hits - great pop punk. If they’d continued in this style we’d all be in heaven now. [8]

Frühe Versionen von zwei Go-Go’s-Hits, hier noch deutlich rauher und punkiger als die späteren Sachen. Speziell die B-Seite ist fast noch reiner Punk, zwar mit starkem 60’s-Pop-Einfluss, aber eben nicht nur. Besser waren sie wohl nie.
