First solo effort by the Wipers’ singer & guitarist. Generally this is a lot calmer than the records by his previous band, mostly with undistorted or acoustic guitars; some of the songs sound a bit like the more depressing songs by Chris Isaak; there are some great Wipers-style tracks, too. Excellent album. [8]  

Erste Solo-LP des Wipers-Sängers, aufgenommen zu einer Zeit, zu der er mit seiner Band noch recht anständige Musik produzierte. Schöner, ruhiger Sound mit viel (unverzerrter) Gitarre. Hat viel von den besseren Wipers-Songs, ist aber ruhiger, und manchmal erinnert mich das Ganze auch an die depressiven Sachen von Chris Isaak. Sehr gut.
