Live sampler from 1983, none of the poorly assembled, crappy sounding live records, quite the opposite. The club’s sound man was obviously a pro; many bands sound better here than on their studio records (just a little too thin). Quality of the material is pretty much consistent; mostly fast solid early hardcore, except for the Mad Daddys who play more of a Rock’n’Roll retro sound. Pretty good overall, even though there are no real killer tracks. [7]

Livesampler aus der Blütezeit des frühen Hardcore; keiner dieser lieblos zusammengehauenen Livesampler mit schwammigem Sound, ganz im Gegenteil. Der Dirt Club hatte offensichtlich einen fähigen Soundmann: Der Sound ist zum Teil besser als auf den Studioplatten der Bands, nur eine Spur zu dünn. Auch die samplertypischen Ausfälle gibt es nicht, durchweg solider und schneller Hardcore (bis auf Mad Daddys, die einen starken Rock’n’Roll-Einschlag haben). Unter den Songs sind keine echten Meisterwerke, ansonsten aber ein guter Sampler.
