Heartattack belonged to the group of bands that pioneered hardcore in New York; they were specifically important because after the crazy hype and the commercialization of the 70’s CBGB bands had died out, the scene was in search of a new direction. Good aggressive hardcore punk with a noisy production, but very powerful and passionate. Title track is fast and furious, the other two are a bit slower and have more punk influence - reminds me of early Kraut a bit. Great record. [8]

Eine der ersten Hardcore-EPs aus New York, die schon viele Elemente des späteren NYHC-Sounds vorwegnimmt. Einfach, rauh und krachig, dabei aber sehr kraftvoll. Der Titelsong ist schnell und wütend, die anderen beiden sind langsamer und punkiger, erinnert mich etwas an die frühen Kraut-Sachen.
