JAP: profane existence far east / extraterrestrial. ae 512 a / 36 tracks / 1996

Japanese comp. with East Coast US bands (Boston, NY, CT, RI). Mostly crust/grind and several sludge bands; gloomy hardcore with some more experimental stuff thrown in. I liked about 50% of the music, 25% is OK and the rest kind of sucks. That’s a decent track record for a comp. [7]

Japanischer Sampler, die Bands kommen allerdings alle von der US-Ostküste (Boston, NY, CT, RI). Musikalisch ist hier die Crust/Grind/Sludge-Ecke angesagt, eher derbes Zeug also. Das meiste ist allerdings kein reines Power-Violence-Gekloppe wie bei den Bleaurgh-Samplern, sondern eher “ernsthafterer”, düsterer Hardcore.
