A blend of funky rock and hectic jazzy hardcore - the bastard son of Red Hot Chili Peppers and Nomeansno. This records works mainly as a showcase for the (undeniably great) bass player, but although this is fast and sophisticated music, the group sound lacks originality and direction. There are some interesting moments, and it's nice to hear a band that can actually play, but the rock clichés, the goofy irony and the songwriting problems just drag this down. [6]

Mischung aus funkigem Rock und hektisch-jazzigem Hardcore – ziemlich genau zwischen Red Hot Chili Peppers und Nomeansno. Die LP scheint vor allem dem Bassisten als Vehikel zu dienen, um sein (unleugbares) Können zur Schau zur stellen, aber auch wenn die Musik schnell und komplex ist, fehlen dem Sound doch Originalität und Richtung. Es gibt schon ein paar nette Momente, aber die Rockklischees und das wenig interessante Songwriting bringen die Platte zu Fall.
