A lot less noisy than the previous LP, the Big Black and Sonic Youth influences are gone almost completely. This rather sounds like a female version of Nirvana now, catchy and accessible. Some people might hold it against them, but I like this LP better than Pretty on the Inside. [7]

Die zweite LP hat mit dem lärmigen Stoff à la Big Black oder Sonic Youth, den die Band auf den frühen Platten pflegte, nur noch wenig zu tun. Die alte Power ist zwar durchaus noch da, die Musik hat aber einen starken Nirvana-Touch abbekommen, der das Ganze wesentlich radiotauglicher und eingängiger macht. Für Puristen vielleicht nicht mehr so interessant; mir gefällt diese LP aber wesentlich besser als die vorige.
