Plain white sleeve with glued on xerox sheets.

Bootleg with two demos recorded in 1979 plus two outtakes from the Statues sessions (1980). The early stuff is quite interesting, melodic punk/rock which reminds me more of mid-era Replacements than Hüsker Dü's early records. The 1980 songs are much faster and more in the early HD vein. Sound quality is OK, but definitely an n-th generation copy which means that there must be much better master tapes of this material that should be released officially. [7]

Bootleg mit frühen Demos von 1979 und 1980. Interessantes Material, da es wirklich unveröffentlichte Songs sind, nicht irgendwelche Urformen. Die 79er-Aufnahmen klingen eher nach den Replacements in ihrer mittleren Phase, melodischer Punk, fast schon Rock. Die beiden Songs von 1980 sind deutlich schneller und härter, das ist dann schon eher die Band, die wir kennen. Für Fans und Sammler eine tolle Sache, allerdings ist die Qualität nicht gerade berauschend, es gibt von diesen Aufnahmen deutlich bessere Kopien.
