Hugh Beaumont Experience - virgin killers LP

  • existencial vacuum records. ev 06 / 25 tracks / 1993
  • 1000 made, 200 on red vinyl; both sides of the red vinyl copies are pressed off center, especially the A side sounds pretty bad. This version has a special insert apologizing for the error. 10 test pressings with alternate sleeve.
  • Exhumed recordings from this old Texas band. A side is live (Forth Worth, 30 Apr / 1 May 1982), sound quality is rough but pretty good, the music is a lot more powerful and aggressive than their rare 7”. The B side has unreleased studio recordings (produced by Bob Mould!), short songs in the aggressive style of the A side, but played a lot faster - this is actually hardcore punk. Pretty rough and simple, but a lot better than the Cone Johnson EP. [7]
  • Tracks: let's go join the army / pigs & frogs / i'm shrinking / the man who shot the pope / police state usa / end authority / what happened to me / eric's on thorazine / counting song / i wanna be used / la grange // i don't wanna go to bellevue / eric's on thorazine / pigs & frogs / private dachau / the man who shot the pope / police state usa / masculinity complex / i wanna be used / kgb / in the name of industry / i'm shrinking / end authority / what happened to me / counting song
