Gatefold sleeve; + poster. The one-sided promo 12” has an extra track (“Wild Thing” from the other 7” on IRS) and comes in a plain white sleeve.

This EP is usually filed under power pop, but it's actually got a cool powerful guitar sound, and the songs on the A side are quirky, complex and intelligent, so this is not just another lame skinny tie release (there is an organ, though, but no saxophones…). B side has two live songs, a forgettable reggae love song and a smoking version of that legendary surf instrumental, Pipeline.

Die erste EP der Humans läuft üblicherweise unter “Powerpop”, hat aber einen schönen, kraftvollen Gitarrensound; die beiden Songs der A-Seite sind flott und komplex - definitiv keine tumbe Devo-Kopie. Bei allen Tracks ist eine Orgel zu hören (dafür kein Saxophon, puh). Auf der B-Seite zwei Livesongs, eine langweilige Reggaenummer und eine gute Coverversion des Surf-Instrumentals Pipeline.
