The old straight edge band had already changed their sound for their previous LP; now they've taken things one step further - one step too far. Like on the Firon LP, this is complex music with some distant hardcore roots; in the better moments it sounds like a weak Melvins or math rock album, but most of it is just a chaotic mess that is all brains and no guts. Obviously a lot of work went into this, but I get the feeling that the sophistication is impenetrable for anyone outside the band. [5]

Die alte SE-Band hatte ja schon für die letzte LP ihren Sound dramatisch geändert, hier soll das noch einen Schritt weiter getrieben werden - und macht dadurch alles zunichte. Komplexe Rockmusik, die noch entfernt an Hardcore erinnert; in den besseren Momenten der LP klingt das nach einer schwachen Melvins LP, aber die meisten Songs sind einfach nur chaotisch, völlig verkopft und/oder langweilig.
