Their final LP since everything went wrong with their mainstream career (read the excellent Punk Planet article); excellent production again. I think Sweetheart was a bit more interesting musically, but this is also a great record; complex, edgy and at the same time melodic and powerful. Great. [8]

Zweite Industrie-LP der DC-Band; leider auch ihre letzte Platte, da das alles ziemlich schief lief mit dem Mainstream-Erfolg (nachzulesen in Punk Planet). Vorteil der Major-Releases ist natürlich eine teure Produktion, die sich bei einer guten Band wie Jawbox auch wirklich lohnt. Vom musikalischen Standpunkt finde ich die Sweetheart-LP etwas interessanter, aber auch diese Platte ist wirklich spannend und originell.
