Cool medley by Jawbreaker - a powerful hardcore version of U2’s “With or Without You” morphs into “Skulls” by the Misfits. Jawbox cover a Buzzcocks classic, great guitar sound and a slight DC touch. Excellent 7”. [9]

Endlich sind die zwei Jaws mal auf einer Platte vereint; Jawbreaker bieten ein Hit-Medley, U2’s With or Without You geht nahtlos über in Skulls von den Misfits usw. - wirklich zum Brüllen. Auch sonst wirkt der Song sehr frisch und flott, klasse. Jawbox covern einen späten Buzzcocks-Klassiker und machen ihre Sache sehr gut, hat den nötigen Drive, dazu ein satter Gitarrensound und etwas DC-Touch. Sehr gute Single.
