Al Jourgenson, DOA… now it’s Nomeansno, with Jello supplying (good and intelligent) lyrics and Nomeansno doing their thing: Complex jazzy rhythms, screaming guitars, angular harmonies. Some of the music has been written by Jello, those tracks sound a bit like the final recordings of the (original) Dead Kennedys. Good record. [8]

Nach Al Jourgenson und DOA haben jetzt Nomeansno die Ehre, mit dem Meister zusammenarbeiten zu dürfen. Das Ganze ist schön aufgeteilt; Jello schreibt die Texte, die durchweg sehr engagiert und intelligent sind; Nomeansno liefern dazu ihren komplexen jazzigen Rhythmus, die schreienden Gitarren und die schrägen Harmonien; die Tracks, die Jello alleine geschrieben hat, sind musikalisch recht straight und einfach und erinnern sehr an die späten Dead Kennedys. Insgesamt eine sehr fruchtbare Zusammenarbeit, tolle NMN-Musik und interessante JB-Texte.
