Fun punk with strong, poppy melodies - think Angry Samoans idiocy with the Vibrators’ musicianship. The Jetsons’ formed out of a band called the Latex Novelties who released only one posthumous single. Though “Suicidal Tendencies” is a good song, “Genetically Stupid,” really makes this record great. The guitars buzz through catchy chords while Jamie Jetson hammers the lyrics into your head. Once you hear the song, you won’t be able to get it out of your head. The third song, “Killing,” is a slower Gizmo-like ballad. It’s a good song, but pales in comparison to “Genetically Stupid”. (MM) Melodic mid-tempo punk from Bloomington, Indiana. Great singalong choruses - I guess no one can resist humming along to “Genetically Stupid” despite the goofy lyrics. “Killing” is another good track, just a little slower; “Suicidal Tendencies” is rougher and faster, and less melodic. Eingängiger Funpunk irgendwo zwischen Angry Samoans und Vibrators; “Genetically Stupid” ist der Hit dieser EP, aber die anderen beiden Songs sind auch ganz OK. (MM) Melodischer mittelschneller Punk aus Indiana. Genetically Stupid hat tolle Mitsing-Chöre, da muss man trotz des schrägen Textes einfach mitsummen. Killing ist ähnlich, nur etwas langsamer; “Suicidal Tendencies” ist schneller, krachiger und weniger melodisch. Gut. (bj)
