Sound quality is excellent. Cover states 500 made(?). Bootleg reissue on white vinyl, Beastie Boys tracks are missing. Another reissue on CD. Here’s what the bootlegger has to say about the title: “KbD was named after the Motorhead song but more than that in homage to [the] Back From the Grave 60s punk compilations”.

It's rare that a record kicks off a new musical genre, and it's even rarer that a bootleg record creates a musical genre that never even existed… but this is exactly what happened after the initial four volumes of the KBD comps had been released; what was previously regarded as obscure noisy punk from the middle of nowhere suddenly had a label, a sound - and a market value. Anyway, this is the first volume, a bootleg LP of noisy punk tracks from rare 7”s, mostly from 1977-1980. Great obscure tracks, highly recommended. [9]  

Bootleg mit alten & raren 7”-tracks; mich ärgert am Konzept, daß nicht komplette Singles, sondern nur einzelne Stücke vertreten sind, was den Collector Scum eher noch heißer auf die Platten macht, anstatt die Situation ein bißchen abzukühlen. An Musik gibt es eigentlich durchweg tolle und zuweilen superrare Tracks zu hören, hauptsächlich aus den Jahren 77-80. Viele rauhe, aber doch melodiöse Punk-Rock-Juwelen. Seltsamerweise ist die Beastie Boys EP, die es sowieso als RI gibt, nochmal komplett vertreten. Tja.
