Early Glenn Branca meets ambient; beautiful harmonic guitar noise. Long, dreamy tracks, always experimental but always on the pop side. Excellent. If you’re into Bowery Electric or Windy & Carl this is for you. [9]  

Glenn Branca ist der erste Vergleichspunkt, der mir hierzu einfällt: krachige Gitarrenwände, hin und wieder aber auch wunderschöne Harmonien. Labradford aus Virginia sind allerdings weniger puristisch und minimalistisch, es wird auch mal gesungen & eine Orgel sorgt für den sakralen Unterbau. Insgesamt ist die Stimmung ruhig und gesetzt; die Stücke sind alle lang und gleichförmig, aber keineswegs langweilig. Mit Sicherheit nicht jedermanns Sache, wer aber auf Combos wie Bowery Electric oder Windy & Carl steht, ist hier goldrichtig.
