Second collaboration of Jello Biafra and Al Jourgensen, and it comes pretty close to a blend of their other (ex-)bands, Dead Kennedys and Ministry. Fast, furious and brutal hardcore on side A, almost hatecore, but with some DK influences as well; the synth drums just contribute to the hard and cold atmosphere. B side is a lot more experimental and weird. Good and interesting. [7]  

Zweites Opus von Jello Biafra (ex- Dead Kennedys) und Al Jour­gensen (Ministry), und für mich eine echte Überraschung: Knallharter HC, der stellenweise schon fast an derb/einfachen NY-Hatecore erinnert, Metalelemente, und natürlich der legendäre Dead-Kennedys-Touch. Die Synthi-Drums wirken hier ausnahmsweise einmal nicht lächer­lich, sondern unterstützen noch das Kalte & Harte in der Musik. Lard hat aber mehr zu bieten als ödes Gehacke, das wird späte­stens auf der deutlich schrägeren und experimentelleren B-Seite deutlich. Eine sehr interessante Platte.
