More 60s/RnR-influenced again than their great Ragged Soul LP, plus - although their musicianship is undisputed - they sound a bit tired and monotonous. There’s enough bands in this genre who sound fresher. For fans. [6]

Nach der exzellenten, punkigen Ragged Soul LP haben sich die Cowgirls auf ihre 60s-Wurzeln besonnen. Es rockt und rollt also wieder mehr, was mir persönlich weniger behagt. Dazu kommt noch, daß die Band zwar technisch unbestritten gut ist, aber inzwischen etwas müde und monoton klingt. Es gibt inzwischen ganze Legionen von Bands, die diesen Sound frischer und echter bringen.
