Energetic and powerful old school hardcore by Let it Burn; musically this hasn't advanced much since the days of, say, Minor Threat, but this is still great and interesting music. Second song has more 70s punk/rock feel to it. The Scarlet Letter tracks are very similar to those on their own 7” on Hater of God; fast, powerful and sometimes melodic hardcore; only the sound is a bit muddier here. [7]

Let it Burn spielen energischen und mitreißenden Oldschool-Hardcore; musikalisch nicht viel weiter als Minor Threat 20 Jahre früher, aber kein bißchen angestaubt oder langweilig; der zweite Song hat dann mehr 70's-Punk/Rock-Einfluß, aber auch sehr gut. Scarlet Letter spielen hier den gleichen Sound wie auf ihrer Single auf Hater of God, also schneller, kraftvoller Hardcore mit melodischem Einschlag; der Sound ist hier allerdings eine Spur flacher. Gute EP.
