Live from the Masque Vol.2 - Wewecancandodowhatwhatwewe wanna do - comp. CD

  • year 1 records. 71003-2 / 22 tracks / 1996
  • Live at the Masque benefit Feb. 28th, 1978. Like Volume 1 this has a terrific soundboard sound quality; good punk rock by some classic bands. If you like the other Rik L Rik/F-Word releases this sounds basically the same so you’ll like them plus they cover “Hillside Strangler”. Randy from the Alleycats’ voice sounds even more annoying when drunk; with a cover of Elvis’ “Jailhouse Rock”. X don’t have their classic sound down yet, drunk and kind of boring slow punk, with the unreleased song “Heater”. The Zeros songs sound like the other Zeros stuff, maybe a little more aggressive. [7]  (CG)
Naja. (CG)
  • Tracks: F-Word - government official / take over the world / hillside strangler / out there - sick of you / bad girl / in a haze / do the nihil / Alleycats - gimme a little pain / one more chance to survive / jailhouse rock / nothing means nothing anymore / X - year one / blue spark / we’re desperate / i’m coming over / adult books / heater / los angeles / Zeros - cosmetic couple / lay off she’s mine / unidentified / nothing
