One of the bands that I have unfairly bashed before for not being “punk” enough (they never claimed to be). With a distance and with some context this actually turns out to be an interesting band, even more so because they played their own flavor of synth pop as early as 1978 – years ahead of most bands of that genre. Their sole album has some very convincing tracks that blend cold, mechanical synth sounds with melodic pop and rougher, harsher punk influences. Even though not all the songs are as cool as “Time to get up” – some of the songs drift into cheesy pop territory with 80’s synth presets - most of this diverse album is worth at least a listen. [6]
