2000 made. “Manimals opened for The Misfits on 1/9/83 at Club Stain in Toledo, Ohio. After the Misfits broke up, Larry and Glenn (Danzig) stayed in contact and The Manimals opened for Samhain at the 9/14/84 Pop Show in Cleveland, Samhain’s second live show.” (Mark Kennedy).

Although the band's lyrics, cover art and attitude seems to be heavily influenced by the Misfits, their music is different; it's still horror hardcore in a way, but very close to metal… almost speedmetal. But then again, there are some choruses and riffs here and there that have a slight Misfits touch. OK, although their outfit is a bit campy. [7]  

In punkto Cover, Texte und Outfit eine fast schon peinliche Ko­pie der Misfits; ähnlicher Schriftzug, gleiche Thematik, die gleiche Strähne ins Gesicht… durch die übertriebene Aufmachung kommt auch etwas (unfreiwillige) Komik a la Gwar ins Spiel. Musikalisch geht das Ganze allerdings eher in Richtung Speedmetal; der Hardcore-Anteil ist zwar noch bestimmend, aber Double-Bass, Gitarren-Soli und der Gesang gehören dann doch eher in die Metal-Ecke. Trotzdem hat die Platte einige gute Momente, die Chöre und manche Riffs erinnern tatsächlich an die Misfits. Eine ganz ordentliche Horror-Core-Platte mit gehörigem Me­taleinschlag.
