Ultra-melodische, harmonische Popmusik mit fantastischen zwei­stimmigen Gesangsarrangements, Beach Boys move over… Aber halt! Die heile Welt wird gleich wieder durch die Säge-Gitarre, die dumpfe und krachige Produktion, die aus dem tiefsten Keller zu kommen scheint (’recorded in a basement’…) und die Stimmen, die auch mal einen Ton danebenliegen, zerstört. Dieser gewisse Trash-Kick macht die Platte auch erst richtig interessant, Me­lancholie im Müllhaufen… wundervoll. Haben.
