Matt Skiba (Alkaline Trio) and Kevin Seconds (7 Seconds) share this LP; acoustic tracks only but luckily there's some diversity. There's the inevitable acoustic guitar ballads, but also 2 nice faster tracks by Matt, with acoustic guitars and punk rock drums. Kevins songs are surprisingly close to mainstream pop/rock, there's not much punk influence here. Overall, this not bad and there are a few interesting moments here and there, but I guess you need to be a fan to really like this. [6]

Matt Skiba (Alkaline Trio) und Kevin Seconds (7 Seconds) teilen sich diese LP, die ausschließlich aus Akustik-Songs besteht. Auf der Matt-Seite gibt es die unvermeidlichen Gitarren-Balladen, aber auch zwei nette schnellere Songs, mit Akustikgitarren und Punk-Schlagzeug. Die Kevin-Seite ist ziemlich mainstreamig, das geht schon deutlich in Richtung Standard-Pop/Rock, was der Gute hier abliefert, mit Punk hat das nicht mehr viel zu tun. Insgesamt OK, aber wohl eher für die Fans interessant.
