Mecca Normal play simple noise rock, just a distorted guitar & a female vocalist, no drums or bass. OK, though. Kreviss have nice demon voices (female as well) & an almost melodic guitar riff, otherwise standard noise / Seattle rock. OK, but definitely not among the best Sub Pop releases. [6]  

Mecca Normal bieten auf ihrer Seite schlichten Noiserock-Sound, nur mit Gitarre und Sängerin. In Ordnung, aber nix besonders Dolles. Kreviss sind eine “richtige” Band & spielen passablen All-Girl-Noise/Seattle-Rock. Auch nicht weltbewegend, aber wegen der fiesen Stimme und dem fast schon melodischen Gitarrenriff recht unterhaltsam. Insgesamt eine eher mittelmäßige Sub-Pop-7”.
