A nice Mudhoney version by the Melvins, in their trademark noisy, grinding slow-motion hardcore sound - an excellent song with an extremely powerful production. SP cover Sonic Youth, a bit more grunge/feedback but so close to the original that it's hardly a cover version. Cool Sub Pop spoof cover. [7]  

Die Melvins mit einer Kostprobe ihres tödlich schleppenden, krachenden Zeitlupen-Hardcores, mit der Grazie eines Kampfpanzers; guter Song und sehr kraftvolle Produktion. Die S.P.-Version von Sonic Youths ’I dreamed’ ist dem Original so ähnlich, daß ich mich frage, wieso sie das überhaupt gecovert haben. Na gut, es spielt etwas mehr Sub-Pop-Feedback mit rein, aber sonst ist das für mich ein zu exaktes Nachspielen. Trotzdem ein guter Song… Insgesamt eine ordentliche Platte, vor allem wegen des Melvins-Songs. Geiles Sub-Pop-Verarsche-Cover.
