This is the big brother of the Feeble Efforts 7”, a tour de force through America’s sub-underground: mostly experimental and avantgarde stuff, ultra-noisy homerecording and really weird garage rock. A lot of this is just unlistenable noise, but there are also some semi-hits hidden in the noise (like the Buffalo Gals track). Bands feat. Bill Stevenson (Descendents), Greg Ginn, Mike Watt, Spot + some other SST “celebrities”; Mr Epp is pre-Mudhoney. [7]

Ansonsten das ganze Spektrum der experimentellen Performances: Schrubbel-Punk, Lärm, Gitarren- und Synthigequietsche. Hin und wieder aber auch ein Beinahe-Hit (z.B. von Buffalo Gals); sowieso überraschend viele prominente Namen: Mr Epp (pre-Mudhoney, mit Mark Arm), Bill Stevenson von All, Greg Ginn, Mike Watt usw. Anstrengend und zu oft auch schwer erträglich, andererseits aber auch interessant; und manche Tracks sind wirklich gut…
