Recorded in August 1980. 2000 promo CDs with the regular sleeve (original CDs have bar code in spine). 1 set of LP acetates cut by Hit Factory Mastering. 3 Caroline LP test pressings on black vinyl (a few sleeves for this were test printed by band members). A few promo CD-Rs burned by Caroline. European bootleg LP reissue on black, another one on color vinyl, and several CD bootlegs, too.

Yet another collection of well-known Misfits songs; this one actually makes some sense because the band planned to release this exact sequence of songs as an LP back then (they ended up recording Walk Among Us instead). So although you will know all the songs by heart, this CD has a coherence which is absent from the many cut-and-paste collections of Misfits material. On the other hand, you could just rip your other Misfits CDs, rearrange the tracks and burn this one yourself. Almost: There is one unreleased track, the first take of London Dungeon which is basically a stripped down version of the regular song without overdubs. All the tracks have been remixed for this release which will annoy the purists, but I think they did a good job, sounds very good. Unfortunately, this reissue ended up not being released commercially, but there are plenty of well-made bootlegs. [9]

Und noch eine Zusammenstellung von wohlbekannten Misfits-Songs. Diese hat allerdings ihre Berechtigung, denn die Band hatte anno 1980 vor, genau diese Songs als LP zu veröffentlichen. Das merkt man der Platte an, weil sie mehr Zusammenhalt hat als die vielen (offiziellen und inoffiziellen) zusammengestückelten Sampler der Band. Es gibt nur einen unbekannten Song, eine Alternativ-Version von London Dungeon, ansonsten kann man sich eigentlich diese CD aus den anderen Alben selbst basteln. Alle Tracks sind übrigens remixt, was Puristen bemängeln werden; ich finde aber, dass die Leute das gut hinbekommen haben.
