  • Pressings: #1 - 5000 on black, 500 on purple vinyl. #2 - 500 on white vinyl. #3 - Thinner and slightly translucent black vinyl with extra etching in runout grooves: “M Z” and “G-2”. #4 - Like #3, but with additional bar code sticker on shrink wrap or record sleeve. #5 - Bar code on back sleeve.
  • Title track is one last glimpse at the bands’ better days, great rough & melodic music. The flipside is more like the Wolfsblood LP - short and fast hardcore blasts, still these are probably their catchiest tracks of their hardcore phase. In retrospect, Glenn Danzig was absolutely right to end the Misfits at this point - they had nowhere to go from here, and the Samhain concept was radically different, so it would have been a shame to release Initium under the Misfits' name. [9]
  • Tracks: die, die my darling // we bite / mommy, can i go out and kill tonight?
