Not the poppy and/or goofy punk you might expect from this label, this has a more serious and aggressive edge while maintaining a melodic basis. Sort of a blend of Jawbreaker and, hmm, maybe Uniform Choice. This doesn't have the ingenuity of either of those bands, but it's still a solid hardcore release. [7]

Monsula waren etwas anders unterwegs als die typischen Lookout-Bands dieser Zeit. Also kein poppig-schrulliger Punk, sondern ernster und aggressiver, wobei die melodische Basis schon vorhanden ist. Als Vergleich könnte eine Mischung aus Jawbreaker und Uniform Choice dienen; Monsula haben zwar längst nicht das Format dieser Bands, aber eine ordentliche Hardcore-LP ist das allemal.
