vermin scum. vsr #11 / 12 tracks / 1991
Hand printed/screened covers with various ink colors (I have seen black and yellow/green), inner sleeve is also screened, + screened insert.
A split LP with semi legendary status among the emo/screamo kids since the Moss Icon side predates most of that genre while already displaying an almost fully developed emo scheme: calm, melodic beginnings, slowly building towards emotional, noisier hardcore parts, breakdowns etc etc. Most of the Silver Bearing side is chaotic and amateurish, er, “art punk” with saxophones, but occasionally they launch into surprisingly good and tight punk/hardcore. That does not happen a lot, though, so Moss Icon are definitely the main draw on this LP. [7]
