The superstars of Chicago punk recorded one last demo in 1992, but lost the mastertape. So they went back into the studio with Steve Albini in 1997 and re-recorded the four tracks. They don’t quite rise up to the heights of Raygun…, but two of the songs are still excellent, the other two just good. The rest of the CD: One 1987 Jettison outtake (OK, not more), one radio commercial, Metastasis live May 25, 1986, Metro Chicago, 4 tracks live June 4, 1989, at the AJZ Bielefeld, Germany, five simple but interesting early songs from a practice room demo 1983, and one last spoken word/commercial/joke/whatever. Essential for their fans, all the others should get their other material first. [7]

Die Stars des Chicago-Punk hatten wohl vor ihrem Dahinscheiden 1992 noch ein letztes Demo aufgenommen, aber leider das Mastertape verschlampt. 1997 wurden die vier Songs daher kurzerhand mit Steve Albini nochmal aufgenommen. Zur Höchstform wie zu Raygun…-Zeiten läuft die Band zwar nicht mehr auf, aber zwei der Songs sind toll, die anderen beiden “nur” gut. Damit die CD dann nicht schon aufhört, gibt’s jede Menge Füllmaterial: ein 87er-Outtake der Jettison-Sessions, naja, ganz OK, ein Radiocommercial, eine gute 86er-Liveversion von Metastasis, vier ordentliche Livetracks live im AJZ Bielefeld (jaja), und fünf interessante frühe Songs von einem 83er-Übungsraum-Demo. Bestimmt keine NR-Einstiegsdroge, aber Fans, die schon alles besitzen, brauchen auch diese CD.
