2009 “25th Anniversary Edition” on white vinyl; 500 “Valu Pak” copies have an additional CD compilation with 7” tracks by Oxnard bands. 50 numbered test pressings of the reissue on black vinyl in regular sleeve, with the bonus CD.

Oxnard, CA, a city about 60 miles northwest of Los Angeles, had a surprisingly good hardcore scene that spawned well-known bands like RKL, Ill Repute or Dr Know. For  a while, Mystic released OxNardcore EPs almost exclusively. Out of the 10 bands here, the best are Ill Repute (noisy, hectic hardcore), Rat Pack (powerful metallic hardcore, unusually well-produced for a Mystic release) and RKL (good rocking hardcore). The others are rather in the typical Mystic vein, generic, simple & noisy hardcore. OK. [6]

Auch Oxnard (eine kleinere Stadt in California) hatte Mitte der 80er einen HC-Boom und konnte so legendäre Bands wie Ill Repute, Dr Know oder RKL vorweisen. Auf dieser LP gibt’s 10 Oxnard-Bands; Highlights sind Ill Repute (krachiger, etwas hektischer HC), Rat Pack (eine der wenigen Mystic-bands mit akzeptablem Sound; kraftvoller HC mit einem Schuß Metal), RKL (ordentlich gespielter HC mit Rock-Einfluß). Die restlichen Bands gehören eher in Mystic-typische Ecke: flotter, einfacher, krachiger HC. Insgesamt ne gute Platte für Leute, die es schnell, derb und hardcorig mögen.
