F: dischord. dis 62 v / 3 tracks / 1992

A bit straighter now, but still with a weird & noisy edge. Interesting but kind of hard to get into. For me, this band symbolizes the problems of the early 90s DC scene - the bands wanted to play more individual and experimental music, but ended up doing heady, artsy stuff that only few people were interested in. Zweite Single, etwas straighter, trotzdem ist das Ganze noch reichlich schräg und verkopft. Zeigt für mich, daß die DC/Dischord-Szene in einer Sackgasse steckt, alle wollen mit Gewalt individuell klingen, aber was früher vielen Bands mit Leichtigkeit gelang, wirkt heute oft gezwungen und anstrengend.
