One 7” each with bands from Washington DC, Richmond VA and Baltimore MD. Wide range of music, many bands play the typical Simple Machines/K records sound, though: rough indie rock with an eccentric DC edge. Nice sampler, I liked the DC single (with Lilys etc) best. [7]  

Dreierbox mit je einer Sampler-EP mit Bands aus Washington DC, Baltimore und Richmond (liegen alle dicht beieinander). Gemäß dem DC-Spirit ist die musikalische Bandbreite etwas weiter gefaßt als bei den üblichen 1-2-3-4-HC-Samplern, das reicht von schönem Gitarrenpop bis zu tanzbarem Underground-Reggae. Das Gros der Tracks hat aber den altbekannten Simple-Machines/K-Records-Sound, also krachiger Indierock mit DC-Kante. Ordentlicher Sampler, die Single mit den DC-Bands (Lilys etc) fand ich am besten.
