Indie rock / art punk from the Mission of Burma label. There are definitely some MoB influences in the sober, edgy sound with the twangy guitars, and the steady beat and the guitar sound also remind me of the Wipers (Youth of America-era). The Neats are a bit calmer and less memorable, though, and don't have the ingenuity of the mentioned bands, so this ends up in the “OK” pile. [7]

Indie-Rock/Artpunk auf dem Mission-of-Burma-Label. Ähnlichkeiten zu MoB sind im spröde-melodischen, etwas sperrigen Sound auch definitiv vorhanden; der Gitarrensound und der durchgehende Beat erinnern auch etwas an die Wipers zu Youth of America-Zeiten. Die Neats haben allerdings nicht das geniale Etwas der genannten Bands, so dass es für diese Platte nur zu einem “OK” reicht.
